Sigma Kappa provides valuable leadership development opportunities to its members. As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in at least one extracurricular activity during their collegiate experience. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them.

Sigma Kappa encourages our sisters to be engaged and involved with the campus or community in ways that are important to them! Every year we participate in The Walk to End Alzheimer’s along with the community of Morgantown. We are always the top fundraising team and hope to continue this in the future. We took part in the walk on October 14th, 2018 and actually doubled last years’ fundraising amount.

Fallin’ in Love with Sigma Kappa was a sisterhood event held last year on October 2nd, 2017. We grilled hot dogs and burgers in our backyard and painted pumpkins!

Parents Weekend is something we do every year. We rent out a local venue to have a nice dinner. The next day we have a big Parent’s Tailgate for the game where all the parents bring homemade food! We end the weekend with a nice brunch provided by our chef!

We shopped at local boutique October 10th, 2018. We were given a special discount and sparkling lemonade!

Panhellenic invited sisters who achieved a 3.5 or higher to the Dean’s List Scholarship dinner on October 9th, 2018.
